What makes Restylane Lyft different from Restylane® is the average size of the particles and the depth of injection. On average, the gel particles in Restylane Lyft are larger than those in Restylane®, which makes Restylane Lyft a good choice for smoothing out more severe wrinkles from deeper within the skin.
Restylane Lyft treatments can be done in our La Jolla or Carlsbad office by appointment, and you may even be able to come in on the same day you call!

You will see an improvement in the severity of your wrinkles immediately after treatment. Some temporary swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness is possible at first, so it may be a few days before you see the final results. These effects are usually mild and shouldn’t prevent you from returning to your daily activities.
Swelling may be more likely in patients under the age of 36, and bruising may be more likely in patients over the age of 35.
Most patients describe a pinching feeling with injection. We can give you a topical anesthetic to ease any discomfort. Because it already contains the mild anesthetic lidocaine, Restylane Lyft can help increase comfort during treatment.

Restylane Lyft usually lasts about 6 months. Many patients notice their results for a full year, but since each patient is so unique, it is best not to suggest this will be true for all.
